Most, if not all, of the makers markets have been cancelled over the coming months. Uttoxeter, however, holds a monthly outdoor and indoor (Town Hall) makers market on the fourth Saturday of the month. It recommences again this month and it will be lovely to meet up with everyone again.

This is my fourth year as a regular stall holder at the unique Market in the Yard in the stable yard of Cotesbach Hall near Lutterworth. With an interesting variety of unusual exhibitors, the market takes place on the first Saturday of every month from 10 - 4 under the beautiful Capri marquee. There are a variety of permanent businesses based in the yard as well, including the Stableyard Cafe, which serves wonderful food and drinks as well stocking a variety of interesting artisan produce such as tea and coffee varieties, unusual drinks, breads, chocolate and other deli items. The farm shop next door provides an exciting array of fruit and veg straight from Cotesbach Hall's gardens. There is also a butchers, blacksmiths and the CET buildings, as you enter from the road, which regularly provides arts and crafts opportunities and events as well as providing a home for the Hall's 400 year old archive.

Cotesbach Educational Trust at Cotesbach Hall near Lutterworth will be hosting a Pop Up Wool Week with Craft stalls, Wool artists events and activities such as loom weaving, felt making, yarn bombing, sheep shearing. spinning and more, with workshops available to try out these crafts.
